You contact us either by phone or email. One of us will reply (hopefully) very promptly. We will endevour to give you a rough price over the phone, if the work is relatively straightforward, if not we will arrange a time to visit your home to discuss the specification. At this point we will discuss the design, the usage purpose and the materials. We will then email you a quotation with the exact price and specification. We will also give you a timescale that we are planning to work to. This can change (never by more than a week or two) as once we start work in a house there is usually a creaky stair, a door that won’t shut properly, a loose towel rail etc. We usually try to carry out this extra work while we there and charge by the day / half day. Once we have agreed that the quotation is agreeable to everybody then we will need a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the work. This can be sent in cheque form or paid directly into one of our bank accounts. This puts you firmly in our schedule of work and allows us to order materials in advance. Then we turn up with some very fine units and you provide a clear, tidy area for us to work in and some delectable biscuits for us to nibble on throughout the day.
